We realised how we rarely shared Filipino recipes and seafood on our page BUT we're definitely going to share more of the recipes that we love & that you don't commonly see on other food blogs! This is my dads recipe of Ginataang Alimango (crab in coconut milk) enjoy!

Ingredients
1 medium onion - minced
4 cloves garlic - minced
2kg crabs (had to buy ours frozen in Asia Market)
1 small pumpkin or squash, sliced into cubes
1 pack green beans, cut into thirds
1 can coconut milk
1-2 tablespoons fish sauce
2 tbsp oil
Salt and pepper to taste
Method
Heat pan to med-high heat and add oil
Saute garlic and onion
Add the pumpkin and squash and cook until its is nearly forked tender
Pour cooked coconut milk, and then let simmer
Put in the crabs and cover with lid. Leave to cook for 10 minutes
Add the green beans
Season with fish sauce and pepper until coconut milk reduces
Serve with rice and enjoy!
